Health and Safety
IES is committed to maintaining a Health and Safety Management System that is certified as compliant with ISO 45001.

We develop health and safety management plans for all our work locations that ensure hazard identification and risk management are part of our daily operations.

These plans specify the minimum requirements that IES expect to be implemented to ensure any risks to the health and safety of our personnel are either eliminated or minimised so far as is reasonably practicable.

IES’s ICT Policy outlines responsible and ethical use of company ICT resources, whether on-site or remotely. Personnel must use IES ICT facilities professionally and protect information privacy and confidentiality.
Fitness for Work
IES is committed to a safe workplace by ensuring all personnel are fit to perform their duties safely. We support this through education on fatigue, stress, and substance use; providing health and wellness training; and promoting work-life balance. Staff can report fatigue concerns without fear. This policy applies to everyone on IES sites.
Injury and Illness Management
IES supports safe, timely return-to-work for employees who are injured or fall ill on the job. We collaborate with health professionals to create Return to Work Plans, providing appropriate duties and support. All personnel must follow this policy to promote effective recovery and reintegration.

Indigenous Engagement
We are committed to engagement of First Nations people by industry. We actively work with local Indigenous organisations and make available opportunities in our workforce supported by an internal mentor, and provide not only employment but also traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities.
