In support of providing sustainable and greener energy solutions, IES attend the AIE Perth Luncheon Event on hydrogen & renewable options in the Pilbara region, with host Maia Schweizer, Director Australia – West, Fortescue Future Industries (FFI).
Maia Schweizer oversees FFI’s plans for Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. She saw the light and moved to Western Australia after two years leading CleanCo Queensland, a low-emissions generator serving large industrial customers prior to gas development and electricity retail at Origin Energy. She trained as a geologist at Princeton, Caltech and Oxford.
Fortescue Future Industries is exploring the potential for hydrogen and technology options at Uaroo in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.
