Breaking Ground: Exciting Launch of the Solar Energy Robotics Workshop in Perth, WA

Perth, Western Australia, has just marked a significant milestone in the field of sustainable energy with the official opening of the Solar Energy Robotics (SER) workshop. The event, graced by the presence of Hon. Stephen Dawson MLC, was a momentous occasion that signified the dawn of a more sustainable and prosperous future for Western Australia.

The grand opening was celebrated by the activation of one of the workshop's autonomous solar cleaning robots by Hon. Stephen Dawson himself. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the pivotal role that initiatives like the WA Solar Energy Robotics facility play in building a sustainable future for the region. He said, "Projects like the WA Solar Energy Robotics facility will play a key role in contributing to Western Australia’s sustainable future, creating new jobs and diversifying the economy."

The launch event saw an impressive turnout of over 70 individuals, representing a diverse range of sectors, including industry, research, investment, resources, and media. The presence of such varied industry stakeholders is a testament to the widespread support and belief in the Solar Energy Robotics project.

At the heart of this project are the Australian-made robots, which represent a sustainable solution to the growing energy needs of our society. These robots are set to revolutionize the way we harness solar energy, providing a cleaner and more efficient means of energy production. The commitment to shaping a greener and cleaner future is at the core of the Solar Energy Robotics and Innovative Energy Solutions initiative.

The workshop opening would not have been possible without the invaluable support of Hon. Stephen Dawson, WA Minister for Innovation and the Digital Economy.
